Professor Michael Wilson is a Professor of Parasitology with over forty years in research and research administration. The President is the Institutional Official with primary responsibility for oversight of research administration systems, research ethics, education, and compliance; and serves as a resource for institutional strategic research planning and development. He also promotes the development and implementation of high-quality research initiatives, encourages innovation and entrepreneurship in research, and supports the translation of discoveries into knowledge and technologies that will benefit society.
Nana Oye Akuffo is a Grants Administrator with over fifteen years' experience in grants management. She has worked with various funders such as WHO, NIH, USAID, DANIDA, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and Wellcome Trust, just to mention a few. She has received various certificates including a Certificate in Financial Management, Certificate in Project Management, Certificate in Practice of Research Administration, and Manage Certificate in Fundamentals of Research Administration and Certificate in Research Integrity. She has received in-house training at Yale Office for Sponsored Project and Morehouse Sponsored Projects Unit. She is also an NIH grant awardee for two capacity-building grants and an SRA awardee for a RAMP scholarship.

She has worked with various funders such as WHO, NIH, USAID, DANIDA, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and Wellcome Trust, just to mention a few. She has received various certificates including Certificate in Fundamentals of Research Administration, Certificate in Practice of Research Administration, and Manage Certificate in Fundamentals of Research Administration and Certificate in Research Integrity. She has received in-house training at Yale Office for Sponsored Project and has attended various internal workshops and conferences on Research Administration.

He has expertise in proving financial support to sustain research excellence through partnerships with internal and external funders. He has worked with various funders such as WHO, NIH, USAID, DANIDA, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and Wellcome Trust, just to mention a few, and has attended various international conferences on Financial management and accountability.
Pamela Nai has worked in a research support office as an Administrative Assistant for over eight years. She has also worked with various funders such as WHO, NIH, USAID, DANIDA, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and Wellcome Trust, just to mention a few. She has received various training in executive management and diplomacy. She has impeccable management & organizational skills and customer service. She also has an in-depth understanding of the grant management business due to her vast experience in working with various donor agencies.
Elizabeth BATCHILLY is a research management professional with extensive experience in a broad spectrum of related relevant areas such as clinical trials processes, research operations and performance management. She has experience in research and cooperate governance, ethics, integrity, project management and grants management and administration of local and international research, collaborations and networks. Her portfolio has included small and large-scale collaborative projects, programme grants, clinical trials and networks funded projects. She is an expert in setting up research management systems that integrate workflows for optimal outputs. She has excellent interpersonal and communications skills as well as the ability to multi-task and deliver successfully in busy setting where several programmes compete for tight deadlines.
The Institute has a hub of well trained and professional Grant Administrators who have extensive experience and have received in-house training at Yale and Morehouse Universities. They have worked with various donor agencies and are NIH trained to become trainers-of-trainees. They are skilled in identifying research funding opportunities and establishing partnerships. They are also responsible for ensuring that all administrative and financial aspects of the project are properly addressed and in alignment with the funder's policies and procedures to allow for appropriate disbursement of project resources. In summary, they are involved in the life cycle of the project- from the proposal writing stage to the grant closeout stage.
The Legal Advisor is skilled in the interpretation of sponsor policies/guidelines, negotiation, and acceptance of all sponsored awards and agreements, overseeing compliance with funding agency regulations and standards. She is also trained in preparing project legal documents (Memorandum of Understanding, Research Support Grant Agreements, Research-Related Grant Agreements, Research Awards contracts, awardees employment contracts, service contracts, and travel grant notifications). The Legal advisor is responsible for ensuring that the project management principles and financial accountability applicable to the recipients, awardees, contractors, or travel participants are integrated with all legal documents.
